Perhaps it’s because I’m the oldest of eight kids that I’ve always seen myself as a facilitator.

The term facilitator is relatively new, but what does it mean? Put simply, I help individuals and groups solve problems and make decisions. I began my journey over 22 years ago by working for small and medium-sized IT companies and moving up the career ladder to corporate behemoths. Believe me when I tell you, I’ve experienced it all.

I created Galvan8 in 2013 when I saw a demand for consulting services within large corporates. I’ve been learning, coaching teams, and facilitating ever since. As the founder and CEO of Galvan8, I specialise in many roles: facilitator, coach, trainer, consultant, writer, and more.

I prefer to work with my clients on location, but I’m equally comfortable facilitating meetings, running workshops, and collaborating on calls with remote teams from my home office.

My clients and I constantly learn from each other through the varied problems they present – the more complex they are, the greater my desire to accomplish them. Cultural and language differences only add to the enjoyment of navigating these challenges. When I’m not working, I pursue my passion for photography by travelling the world.
